Cauliflower Nuggets

If you’re looking for a vegetarian version of the classic chicken nugget, then you’re in the right place.

These cauliflower nuggets are quick and easy to whip up either as a snack or as a side dish with your dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 cauliflower cut into small florets

  • 1 cup plain flour

  • tsp salt

  • tsp cayenne pepper

  • tsp white pepper

  • tsp onion powder

  • teaspoon paprika

  • tsp ground cloves

  • tsp powdered turmeric

  • 1 tbsp mixed herbs

  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast (soy sauce may be substituted)

  • cup milk

  • olive oil

    Method

  • Mix all dry ingredients together in a bowl.

  • Dip cauliflower in milk, and then roll pieces into dry mixture and place on tray.

  • Sprinkle with olive oil and bake in oven at 180 degrees until soft and golden.

  • Serve with mayonnaise or dipping sauce.
